Dark Chocolate and Sour Cherry Scones

Doug and I visited Hudson, NY for the July 4th weekend. Luckily for us, it was sour cherry season, which only lasts about four to six weeks a year. We managed to hand pick five pounds worth at an incredible price of $2/pound. However many desserts that amount of cherries yield, it will surely not be enough to hold us over until next year!
